What baffles me is why, if you are a FORMER employee of Cisco, as you claim, you think anyone would give a rat's ass whether you made a generic statement, "Buy Cisco. If it goes down, buy more. Never sell it."? I can't think of any way, shape, or form that could be construed as dissemination of insider information or insider trading, and I can't think why it would piss you off otherwise.

If fact, even if you were a PRESENT employee of Cisco, I can't think of any way, shape, or form saying generically, "Buy Cisco. If it goes down, buy more. Never sell it." would reflect badly on you.

You've certainly shown no reluctance to post favorably about Cisco - remember this discussion back in October, 2000? You didn't say "Buy Cisco," you said that even if Cisco was forced to restate earnings "your guess" was that "a certain amount of the risk" was already priced into the stock.

Now here is an interesting one - you're telling someone you might be able to help his son get a job at Cisco by using your connections:

>>I may know some people at Cisco...help junior out a bit....<<

And another interesting one:

>>I am an ex-Cisco employee and I can tell you that the options are a very important part of the equation. But it is
more than that, Cisco treats their employees very well. This creates a tremendous amount of loyalty. I will always
carry a little bit of Cisco inside...Just call me Jorjie Ciscoseed, spreading the Cisco culture wherever I land.<<

So why you're all bent out of shape that I thought you were the one who said "Buy Cisco" is beyond me - and if anyone is making your connection with Cisco public, it's you. I had no idea who you worked for, and frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

But if I were you - which I am not, thank the good Lord - I would worry about statements like this - if you were an employee of Cisco at the time you made it I think you were on thin ice with respect to dissemination of insider information:

>>Do you think that if the accounting rules change, that Cisco will stand still and not change along with the changing environment? Do you think that the potential changes are going to come as a surprise to Cisco when they happen such that they will not have made plans for it?<<
