Don't know whether you have the talk show "Political Incorrect" in Europe, one of the guests of last nite's show is a republican strategist, he said, in his opinion I believe, the threshold for US to consider to go "N" is when there "was", I hope it will never happen, large casualties within US by those terrorists in the number of 50 to 100,000. Even if the west have a strong desire to fix the root problem, it will take generations. We see how much "progress" is made since Carter. IMO, it will take half to one generation just to agree what the west should do, half to one generation to implement those changes, one to three generations to revert all those hatred baggages passed down from their ancestors, hundred of years ago, if there is nothingelse happens. Besides, politicians have their agenda, who is going to see it through. What can conquer human nature but nature itself. Sorry to sound so cynical. OTOH, I do my part on the positive side to praise those deserve credit, like the founding fathers of US, WWII heros, Gandhi, Dr. Sun, Mother Teresa and etc.
