Are you kidding? They let you post now without being a paid member? I was not aware of that. Man, SI has gone downhill, if that is the case. I paid for a lifetime membership way back when.. they'd better not go under. I still find very good information on here......

I was thinking something like ten bucks every 90 days. And maybe some kind of premium service with some stock picker guy that knows what he is doing. That's in addition to a site that works right. Does that make sense to you?

I just signed up with SI. I've been following a lot of what people say on here and have found it to be the place out there. But I pay: 59.95 for the first six months, 9.95 a month afterwards. Didn't do lifetime membership thing. But worth every penny thus far.

I can't stomach the thought of SI just disappearing one day. What a real loss that would be. There is SO much information in these posts it's simply incredible. The history alone is worth the price you've outlined. If the site is really hurting financially as much as has been expressed here. I am simply flabergasted they have not made a real effort to generate more revenue. Selling a CDROM databases should be a no-brainer to accomplish in less than 3 months for a tech company. Along with ALL kinds of other items. Every penny counts when you're a dot-com company struggling to stay afloat. And management should realize that.
