It's gonna snow, Hawk. Maybe four inches!

Of all the times to live in "Paradise" December is the best. Low 69, High 79 all week in Waikiki, not a cloud in the sky as I type. I am on my way to the Beach, with very warm water and "pretty girls in Bikinis," as the ad on TV for vacation says.

In Philly (and suburbs), expectation is 4-7 inches tomorrow.

And for those with children, my secret to retaining sanity on snow days, cocoa,
video tapes and microwave popcorn!

All of which require electricity.

Which here, if we get four inches of snow, is usually out.

So our mantra is somewhat different. It's fireplace, candles, and family games.

Yeah... supposed to start sometime overnight and snow all day tomorrow...

Fortunately, I don't have to drive in it... But Metro is going to be crowded as hell tomorrow morning..

Still waiting for one like we got back in '96(?)... 17 inches a day or so... This town just can't seem to handle even an inch of snow...

Hawk

Am just checking in...how's the snow and ice today in your "neck of the woods..." Out here in Seattle, temp is in the 40's..damp but no rain, and NO snow in the Cascades or the Olympics...nor in Whistler nor in Sun Valley! Reallllly strange weather..!

With the knee injury last night, immobilizer, crutches, pain meds, and enforced "do nothingness but keep the leg elevated" .... not getting anything done...cooking, decorating, gifts and wrapping, etc etc.... Did take a nap and watch "kick it up a notch Emile" though today.... <g>
