You are posting on THE hot issue of the day. Anything anyone says on this topic gets met with a barrage from the other side. Some of it on some other threads much nastier than anything that has ever appeared on this thread. This isn't chit chat about "Survivor" or "American Idol". The divisions created by this, amazingly, are worse than those resulting from the 2000 elections.

Got an email yesterday, saying to boycot everything American in France because Americans are boycotting everything French.

This is stupid and childish on both sides.

Americans bashing the French because they have a different opinion. What happened to freedom of speach?

Bashing France because you saved their asses 60 years ago and this is how you are repaid? err, history lesson, who armed Iraq in the first place 20 years ago?
