Clinton balanced the budgets. Bush busted them. How can you say dems are not more fiscally conservative? Just not true. even Jack Kemp says Bush is the most reckless economic president he's ever seen. Bush doesn't have a clue about the economy. And the people he's put in charge are just yes-men with no ideas. When the GOp attacks Grey Davis, I have to laugh. Bush's deficits make Davis's look tiny.

the last two presidents that had a balanced budget were democrats. So I guess that repubs have a harder time with fiscal discipline than dems.

Are you saying that you, with an income of 100,000, paid increased taxes due to the Deficit Reduction Act of 1993 which is what I think you're refering to as the largest tax increase in history? Were you married and filing a joint return? If so, you paid no tax increase unless you were making about 180K a year....correct me if my memory is wrong.
