Not only was it not "clear" that my post detracted from the value of the community, but more importantly, it doesn't say such posts are a violation of the TOU. There is a big difference between removing a post and suspending a membership indefinitely. Furthermore, the TOU stipulate that a member that has had a post deleted should take it up with Matt privately , not publicly. This is exactly what I did in a civil and courteous manner. Matt replied with three brief points which I have succinctly covered in this post:Message 19249714 When I replied to Matt in a civil and courteous manner with the reason I felt my post was not a violation of the TOU, he replied with vulgar four-letter words and disagreed with my response without offering any new dialogue except to say that my post was "lined with crap" like "fearless leader" and "come clean". An examination of the post will reveal that is a false claim and an examination of the charge will reveal it's kangaroo nature. I was very put-off by the vulgar language Matt sent me especially considering that I had remained civil and courteous without exception. I was also rebuffed by Matt's unwillingness to discuss the charges in any meaningful way. It was not until I had been thoroughly rebuffed by Matt that I brought the discussion public here at SI. When I made the decision to purchase a lifetime membership for $129, certain reservations of mine were quelled with this comforting statement which was published in the User Agreement:Chances are - if you're honest, sincere, and civil with your posts - you will never have to worry about having a post removed. I was honest, sincere and civil with this post (and all my posts) and not only was it deleted, my subscription was suspended indefinitely. Furthermore, when I contacted Matt privately (as directed in the user agreement) he became hostile, vulgar and non-communicative. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a lifetime (or annual) membership at Ihub think about the risks before doing so. I essentially wasted $129, down the tube. Don't make the same mistake I did. In hindsight it's pretty obvious that, once the lifetime subscription is purchased, the owners of Ihub have no compelling reason to keep the paid-up customers happy. But a new fool is born every minute, I just never thought I would become that fool. Bux
