When everybody is being irrational shouldn't we try to be rational? Since the previous China boom was overdone why should we copy it exactly? I think it's best to get out too soon, i.e. when the PE's are objectionally high, even though the market's momentum is tremendous. I'm not saying that time is now.

Energyplay, <<China ... fun>>
I speak as a veteran of the Red Chip War, and I think BCA is right, but for the serious danger that (a) Taiwan may proceed with the referendum on Mainland China missiles/Taiwan Independence, (b) the referendum, if held, may see the majority led to their appointment with destiny, (c) China Mainland will likely create that destiny, and (d) the US may be left to do as it wishes, as it may, which may not be enough, at least not to prevent a collapse of China Red Chip market and the US NYSE trading place.

The danger may not actualize, but the fear of the danger will most assuredly come to pass, I am betting, because I am now suspicious of my earlier thoughts:
