in violation of myriad UN resolutions

Considerably different than what you said, i.e., the "world's demands".

Ask the pilots who got shot at over the "no fly" zone

How many were actually hit?

the Kurds

The Kurds who were living in an autonomous state...or are you talking about the Kurds that we turned a blind eye to because we thought it was a good thing that Iraq was fighting Iran?

Do you really consider Saddam's paying $30,000 a head to the families of suicide bombers in Israel harmless "support"? Man, that's really rich.

I suppose it's common sense that it contributed to the number of suicide bombers if you'll agree that you would commit suicide for $30,000. I, for one, never read any reports that the suicide bombers were influenced by money. Now that Saddam is gone and the $30K fee is out of the way, has there been a precipitous drop in suicide bombers?

As to, "The Saudis," it's interesting how you and the rest of the left love to lump all the Saudis in with the 911 hijackers and blame Saudi Arabia. It's a fact that OBL is, or was Saudi until they threw him out and stripped him of his citizenship.

It's also a fact that members of the royal family continued to send funds to Al Queda. It's also a fact that the Saudi Royal family supported the religious schools in Saudi Arabia that taught so many Muslims to hate America. Do you think it was mere coincidence that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis?

I made an effort to avoid any implied questions by putting in the appropriate "?"

If Bush was so right to invade Iraq why is that he couldn't get anyone substantial to go along with it besides Britain and token support from Spain? Bush tried to buy Turkey with 30 billion $$$$ and they still refused to have anything to do with the War.

The number of UN countries against the war is huge. That allies Canada, Germany and France all refused to participate shows just how unilateral Bush's actions were. This in spite of the goodwill 9/11 generated. Now after what must have been huge arm twisting Nato agrees to train some iraqi policemen - hardly a ringing endorsment for the war from the UN.

It was a nice move on Saddam's part. Israel had begun a policy of demolishing the homes of families of suicide bombers. This is a flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention. Saddam was simply counteracting this crime.
