Nadine,

Different subject - polls. Most polls show a shockingly close race for President and all other items up for grabs.

Given the biased nature of the press, and the pollsters and their records in 2000 and in particular in 2002, any bets on them being accurate?

John

They are reminding everyone of his testimony, which had been forgotten by most people. I vaguely remember that the testimony was very shocking at the time

The key thing is that I have read that the Swift Vets got over a million LAST WEEK! They have the "winter soldier" commercial out this week. They have a documentary, "Stolen Honor" coming out on CD by Labor day. This is still a little "iffy," I haven't been able to nail it down yet.

In any case, they are so famous now that each showing of a commercial gets "force multiplied" by the news shows running them, and the heightened viewer's attention. Good stuff.

i had never heard kerry's 1971 senate testimony until about march, 2004, when cspan played it and i recorded it. it seemed to me that senator fulbright was loving what he heard. i think he asked kerry leading questions, but that's what senators do (it's politics.).
