Gore is pretty dull<g>. Generally speaking, one has to have some Hollywood characters to be US president, although I am not sure how Bush junior made the list<g>

Commodity bull market?
Commodity inflation?

I got into with someone on Russ's board over coffee and the $CRB today showing inflation.

I did some research and was almost shocked at what I saw.
Energies are only 17% of the CRB but that 17% accounts for almost all the $CRB run up.

Have you looked at individual CRB components going back to 1990? Check out these links and the enclosed charts.

<<..Gore was as dull as a post hole..>> For sure, and we would not have the excitements of 911 event and the Afghan / Iraq wars. It would have been a dull four years. Except maybe lots of rhetorics on global warming and meddling with China's internal affairs via human rights and environmental issues, slapping China for slave labors and probably he would be forcing labor unions there, with threats of trade sanctions. In the ME, he would be pushing for more of Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations - how dull it would be hearing news of more failed attempts of forced marriage between two mortal enemies.

Yep, it would have been a dull four years. And yup, 911 would not have taken place - better believe it.
