Kennedy was wrong . Look who is VEEP, not Kennedy. Story is that Secret service is covering up his drinking that evening. Still a tragic accident but Cheney is over 60 and should completely fess up about the incident as well as about Plame.

I think most folks were pretty pissed off at Ted when the event happened. I know I thought he was a slime ball. But kids...that was what 30 years ago? He went to court. He was acquitted. Further the people of Mass have elected him to represent them. Do we have to agree with them? No we don't. It's old...very old news. Cheney's behavior with respect to shooting his pal indicates a cover-up. This is a current event. It's pertinent to today's questioning on Cheney's role in Plamegate and Intelgate. There's been a lot of lying going on, and people are pissed off. If Cheney hadn't been doing a fatboy hunt from an SUV with a medical team following him it's possible that Whittington could have been killed. What do you think would have happened if Cheney and the hunting party were on foot like most self respecting hunters? What if they would have had to pack Whittington out of the bush? A very different outcome is possible. Add it up: 1. Conflicting stories about the use of alcohol. 2. Sheriff kept away for 14 hours. 3. Cheney doesn't go to the hospital with victim. 4. Cheney stays on the ranch and has dinner and a cocktail. 5. Story doesn't get told for 4 days. 6. reported to local newspaper days later. 7. Does not inform the whitehouse fully about the incident. 8. Lame excuse about wanting to get the complex details correct. Complex details? What complex details?
