You missed my point.

TJ generally reserves an opinion of you somewhere between a leper and a child molester.

The exception being whenever the topic is crap on the US.

Then y'all are reminiscent of a pack of neighborhood pooches banding together to attack a sniffing outsider.

"MC, you made comment which needed correcting. <... American moves to stabilize this region"

Thought I'd revisit this exchange since I didn't quite remember what you had attributed to me above.

It is true that the phrase was included in my post, but there was added context.

What escapes me is why you are so comfortable with sitting back and pooh-poohing any American moves to stabilize this region.

By chopping out and commenting on that sequence you of course changed the entire thrust of my post.

Sort of a reach to get into the good graces of the American critics around here, but you have your motives I suppose.

Suffice to say that I am totally in agreement with the criticisms concerning the abortive policies of the previous American administration as a cursory review of most of my posts would clearly indicate.

What I find galling is the frenzy with which the Anti-American critics are attacking the new American administration before any realistic evaluation of policy changes can be seen.

That strikes me as, in the American vernacular, chicken-shit.
