Re: MSFT chart

Please compare with the July 95 through January 96 period. Now see what happened after that.

This is why long-term holders don't fret when MSFT rebases every 18 months or so.

I would not be surprised to see MSFT at $120 over the next two weeks.
The gap it left on Fridays trade ($128 5/8) on the opening must be filled.

The DOJ is expecting a response from MSFT later this week. I believe it could drive the price lower in one quick spike.

Based on the above chart, question is whether MSFT will break the 50 day MA for the sixth time OR are we heading down after touching $134 15/16 this morning ? The gap left last week and one left yesterday either indicates that MSFT is on its way to make new highs because of huge demand for the stock OR that it is about to break $130 again and head towards the $120 level.

Determining the resistance and support levels is very important for short term traders and also to those who want to go long term but at the appropriate time to maximize profits.
