i agree with armstrong that kav is the tipping point for the decline & fall of america; and, that his hearing exposed the serious fact that the US Congress has become too polarized to even govern... but ......... this is only true if he is confirmed to the supreme court. "We have gone way too far to ever return to normality." that happened when DT was elected.

In general terms, I would agree, and K should have removed his candidacy if he cared about the nation and not only about himself. Irrelevant to the division he created in the Senate. A mature person would have acted in the interest of his people and his country, but unfortunately, even if he is right he cares mostly for himself and his own pride. K could have declared - that all the claims are rubbish, but, for the sake of the nation and unity of the US Senate he is willing to jeopardize his nomination only for the sake of not dividing his country. That is what IMHO a man of honor for such a position should do. As to your statement " *If my family, who has fought in every war from the American Revolution onward were alive today, they would seriously wonder what they even fought for."* It is not only in the US and I can personally attest that it is happening also in Israel and I am certain in other countries around the globe.

Should read Clowngress has become to bought to govern for the people, it governs only for the oligarchs/corporations What has been done to Kavanaugh is a serious disgrace for if the allegations of Ford are true, then she is at fault for not bringing charges back then and claiming it has defined her life. NOBODY should be allowed to bring any allegations against anyone decades after with no proof. They call them a Cold Case when they cannot solve a murder and Chicago’s track record is that they solve less than even one in six such murders and that is current incidents Actually if the allegations are true he should be disgraced and for a woman to bring charges back then in time or even today is dangerous for they are the ones who get attacked. Using Chicago as an analogy minimizes his arguement, he's comparing apples and grapefruits. The Kavanaugh vote was strictly down the party line and that demonstrates the problem. The hatred and degree to which a person is attacked goes beyond that person but seriously harms his entire family. Maybe he should've thought about that himself, everything is done by party line in amerika for the D' and R's are representing the party(Oligarchs) This is now becoming a serious deterrent to anyone in the future looking at taking such a post. Will they find someone in your past you just hates you for some reason who now thinks it is pay-back time? The Congress is now far too disconnected from the notion of God, truth, and justice for all. That arguement is still being used? This clowngress is simply the best that money can buy for the oligarchs And the turning point came long before trump, he's just another band aid on the long list of disease permeating thru the amerikan republic
