Whenever I do a plumbing project, I laugh but it turns out true - it takes me 3 trips to Menards or Home Depot.

It is always a learning experience.

When I do electrical (I am major color blind), I have earned the nick name "Sparky".

Go bless circuit breakers !

It is so bad my wife says "I'll do it"

Not only did I marry well , but I'm lucky too!

So far never burned anything down - but do carry good insurance. LOL

Bob

My main issue with plumbing is I've had more trouble finding parts I want than with electrical projects.
My cabin was built ~75 years ago. I have no idea when it got electricity but when I had a breaker go bad I found out that they are not generic. At least not then. I had to find a little shop in Denver who's business is getting old breakers from who knows where, testing them and reselling them for premium prices.
