Me: If instead of Warp Speed vaccines, we had focused on prophylaxis and early treatment using repurposed drugs (like HCQ and IVM), we could have saved hundreds of thousands of USA lives and probably eradicated covid before the vaccines were even available.

You: I've read similar info in various postings, but how do you know who to believe?

All I know for sure is some first hand experience. I supplied my own IVM paste on Christmas Eve to my wife's doc, who was self-quarantining at home, on self-prescribed oxygen, 103 F & painful breathing. He improved in 48 hours and then fully recovered. He's successfully treated >120 covid patients since then (with IVM) and only 1 hospitalization who fully recovered.

Purely as a precaution (Thank You God!) I had sent my daughter in Colorado a pack of 10 ea. 12 mg IVM tablets procured for our own (wife and me) prophylaxis. Daughter and husband had been vaccinated but not my 14 y.o. grandson since they had read about vaccine issues (myocarditis) with children. About 1 week after they received my emergency pack on 9/28, my grandson was diagnosed covid positive by PCR on 10/5. Since she had the IVM on hand, she immediately began the FLCCC early treatment protocol (2X 12 mg tablets for 5 consecutive days). BTW this is about 2X higher than normal dosage as prescribed by the protocol. He had a severe headache, sinus congestion, dry cough and was tired. He did not have any fever, oxygen saturation was OK and no loss of taste/smell. He lifts weights, weighs 200 pounds (!) and is in good health other than asthma which is one of the underlying conditions. After 1 day the headache disappeared and after 2 days the other symptoms improved. He continued the full course of 5 days per the protocol. We wondered if he really had covid so he had a 2nd test on 10/8 which came back positive on 10/9. He is now fully recovered and will return to school Thursday 10/14.

I cannot say what could have happened to my wife's doc or our grandson, but I'm thankful in both cases that God absolutely convicted me to do what I did. God is Great! Get to know him if you don't.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

As someone who lived for a long time outside the US with Asian family members, what is your opinion of Tulsi Gabbard?

She was my choice in the presidential primary. It appears the conservatives at Fox News like her now for being a democrat who speaks the truth about the failures of the current administration.

Like many moderates, she has an "interesting" range of views such as not being a Christian and being a supporter of the Federal Marriage Amendment to prevent federal law from overriding state law with regard to same-sex marriage.

Chipmakers cautious about overbooking for consumer applications in 4Q21

Shipments of display driver ICs (DDI) for Chromebook and large-size TV applications are apparently slowing down on seasonality in the fourth quarter, but the supply of networking chips and automotive power ICs remain highly tight amid strong demand, according to industry sources.

IC design houses have allocated more foundry capacity for networking and automotive chips in the fourth quarter to fulfill robust orders from clients, the sources said.

For most chipmakers, overbooking from clients remain the largest shadow over their operations for the moment, and they are cautious about possible impacts of clients moving to adjust their orders based on actual fourth-quarter sales, particularly those of handsets, notebooks and other consumer electronics devices, the sources said.

The upcoming Christmas and Chinese New Year shopping seasons will provide a good timing for gauging consumer electronics market conditions, the sources said, adding that if sales fall short of market expectations, chipmakers and other supply chain players are expected to take corresponding measures.

Nevertheless, shortage of components and power cuts in China are expected to affect shipments of finished products for the year-end shopping season, the sources said. If clients fail to thicken inventory to a targeted level before the end of the season, they may cut orders afterwards in response to a slowdown in consumer demand, the sources added.
