At least Bush 43 and Clinton were "likable" in that I'd enjoy having a cup of coffee with either.

For that matter, Obama was likable too as I'd love to sit down and share our early experiences and see how he got over taking bong hits with the stoners to become president. Friends I hung with went in many directions from being shot dead by the police, heroin addict living on the streets until recently, a doctor after doing art school for a few years and myself, a highly rated engineer and now a successful investor with 35 years sober. Maybe that is why I liked Bush 43 more than others.

Obama was probably the best liberal I've followed that could actually articulate a good case for some of his beliefs such as EVERYONE WHO WORKS HARD should deserve reasonable health care and a retirement income. Most liberals just blather about the rich need to pay their fair share, ignoring they pay the vast majority of taxes already and resent their money being taken to support "losers" and others who don't work hard or make poor choices.

BTW, one of the guys I washed dishes with in college, played on his basketball team and really enjoyed his company drinking and doing our own bong hits, has been the dean of a very good law school for many years now.

JOE doesn't give a sh&t if you work hard as long as you fit the demographic he needs to vote for him, a pure political scum bag.

Trump has some great ideas but the way he articulates them, usually leaving a wake of new enemies in his path, makes me feel that is what led to us loosing so much status in the World.

From what I can tell, we are not the only country divided along these lines. I attribute it to feeding the pigeons so long in most "progressive" countries that they've become fat, happy, over bread and entitled.
