>>Broadening his inquiry in this fashion serves no probative value, other than to demonstrate his partisan machismo<<

That has to be the biggest load I've read on this thread in a long, long time.....Ken Starr is obligated to follow up on the leads that come his way, no matter what direction they take. Say what you will, but I think I will reserve judgement until all the facts are detailed in his final report. Then and only then will I decide whether his inquiry served any probative value.

"It's about the fact that Starr's prosecutors have been caught in the past abridging the rights of defendents. "The end does not justify the means".. This is what makes my blood boil. Clinton having 800 FBI files is not abridging any rights? And this tactic of saying "I didn't know anything about it". Clinton doing and saying anything he wants and then looking everyone right in the eye and denying it. And at this point, if anyone questions anything he has said or done, we have no right to question any of it. We are not being objective. We are out to get him. Talk about double standards. Never in my life have I seen anyone with the double standard gall these people possess.

Stop blindly defending the guy. To use Clinton's own words, Be a little more objective about the subject.

<< I am floored to think that there are people that actually can
see a nexus with obstruction of justice from remarks critical about Starr and his lieutenants, regardless of the source.
>>

If you can't see a possible nexus (obstruction of justice) between remarks critical of Starr for leaks and the creation of those leaks by the WH, then you are myopic.
