Whats good for Packwoood is good enough for the Slickster, i.e., resignation from office, IMHO.

What we are seeing here is a double-standard the likes of which may be strong enough to keep the Slickster in office for the duration.

New Clintonista spin: She's also a nut who made her husband kill himself.

You are right about how clever Kathleen Willey must have been, and how patient, Dwight, as her stealthy, conservative Republican soul insinuated itself into Clinton's inner circle. As I recall she and her husband were (formerly) wealthy Democrats who made large contributions to the party over a period of many years. She had been a voluntary, part-time employee for Clinton before her husband lost his fortune and she found it necessary to go to the White House and beg Clinton for a paid, full-time job that fateful day.

Boy, what a sleeper is right!!! And such a good actress, as well. This right-wing conspiracy is so clever, it's just hard to believe!!
