Hi-
As a matter of fact..I put a link to the gold monitor thread since
we like to get an impression of what is happening in Indonesia..
That thread is not to talk about individual stocks just what
might trigger the return to gold..Indonesia seems to be one huge
country that can have a major impact on SE Asia..had also read if
civil unrest continues there may be disruptions in some trade routes besides mass exodus of immigrants..(wish I could be a bit braindead and just smell the roses and pet the dogs,.also found a
website that lets you create your own bulletin board..
It would be great if you started one explaining the cost saving
applications in SCADA besides its ability to work magic...talking
about Indonesia..
Again I repeat I definitely have faith in management in this company
and do look forward to more education..I am beginning to think faith
in management is the major key to investing..Keep up the great work..
and maybe we will all be able to go one day to Indonesia and experience their magic :>(which so many Indonesians have told me about)
another beautiful day in NY
Bobby

Without Prejudice John. Glad to hear what a wonderful place Indonesia is. I am very concerned about how you are spending the shareholders money however. Every major financial newspaper in the world is reporting that Indonesia is on the brink af almost bankruptcy. The Financial Post recently reported that Indonesia's top Public relations people were recently in Japan to try to get an extension on their line of credit. How do you justify trapsing half way around the world to do business with an economy like that? Correct me if I am wrong, but If you do "win" a contract you may actually be the loser! Who will secure 100% timely payment to any SCADA instalation in this nation? Or perhaps you trust Saharto and his buddy Hassan? I'snt President Saharto the one who was recently boycotted in Vancouver Canada for his human rights violations and butchering of innocents? His handling of the Br X affair by forcing a shot gun marriage with his buddy Jim Bob Moffat of Freeport Morgan was a shock to the financial world. His confiscation of a huge portion of what was then thought to be the largest gold deposit in the world showed how brazen the corruption is in that country. His monopolistic control of nearly every industry in the country through his family business speaks volumes to the investment community.Deal with the devil himself if he is paying in US Cash, but please don't be expect sophisticated shareholders to get too excited about it. I was recently in a investment meeting with Gletel's Corporate Development Vice President. He has expressed concerns to me on several occasions about the hazzards of overseas business. Why are you not focussing more on the booming Oil Patch in Alberta, or at least doing business in a county that has some international credability and fiscal stability?
I have looked closely at your financial statements. You don't seem to be in a position to patiently wait out a recovery in the Indonesian economy. Unitec is still not proffitable. Your 98 business plan states that you intend to raise your next financing at $ 1.20 per share this year. The stock is at $.40 now, and we are in the latter stages of a bull market. What kind of "majic" do you intend to perform to prevent further dillution by issuing shares at these prices?Do you have deep pockets that you can afford to focus on Indonesia? Who is going to Pay Unitec for contracts perfomed in Indonesia? Can you you get 100% guarantees from the World Bank?
I don't wish to be the one to piss on your parade, but I am a concerned shareholder and people want answers as to how you are spending their money.
Sincerely, DBT

Hi John
Thanks for keeping the shareholders informed as to the progress into these exciting new areas of the world. It's nice (and very rare I might add) to get timely updates from the CEO of a company. I certainly applaud and respect you for your efforts. I believe that most shareholders (less one; DBT) realize that speculative growth stocks do not carry or infer 100% guarantees. Life sure would be wonderful if they did. With this in mind, shareholders must continue to adjust portfolios to invest no more than they can afford to lose (ie no mortgages to fund speculative stock purchases). Having said that, I am a long term shareholder and will continue to watch and anticipate great things from UIC. Keep up the good work!!!
