Sex - moot. Sleaze - moot. High crimes and misdemeanors - absolutely not moot and not going away.

Sam, can we believe the polls that say the public is not concerned re our President's alleged behavior? As we know there are many ways to conduct a poll to get the answers wanted. I believe this has been done by the Libs at CBS et al in their poll activity. Also, I read recently that contributions to the Democratic Party are at a low ebb. Maybe this tells us more than all those questionable polls? (As a Libertarian I am not in love with many Republicans either.)

<< Dan Quayle isn't necessarily less "sleazy" or of "higher" moral caliber just because, as his wife put it years ago, he would never have an affair because he likes to golf far more than engaging in sexual activity.>>

Sounds like a good story (and analogy) to me!

Hi Sam,

You are quite right that there is plenty of sleaze to go around among our elected officials, and with no party free of the problem. Just for purposes of discussion, though, I would agree to exclude sexual activity, and I still thing Mr. Clinton would win the sleaze prize.
