Did Bernie say $100?

Can anyone help me out? I'm pretty sure Bernie said, some time last year, that the stock would reach $100 in two years time.

Can anyone point me to the news that quoted this?

Thanks

The basic reality is that the FCC and Congress want this deal. Wcom is the first entity with a shot at taking on the RBOC's with some of their same scale. Wcom is the first large entity that has competitive local access.

There are objections that it is mostly business competition. That the Internet will be too concentrated. But the later is basically absurd, since anyone with bucks can decide to either lease or string their own fiber cable and set up ATM and Router closets.

It will go through.

And I don't think the Europeans are even in a position to stop them. I mean, what could we do if Toyota and Honda wanted to merge?

Yes the Europeans could make getting new European access more difficult, but that is SUPPOSED to be exactly the opposite direction they are heading. Politically Europeans want phone competition.
