Torben,

FWIW, I agree today's drop was much bigger than I would have imagined. The stock was already down 60% from the high, they still made a good quarter and a great year especially when you look at the DD sector or any networking company. If today's sell off was too big, maybe we'll get a good bounce Monday. Xing my fingers.

<< Todays drop was bigger than I expected. But I don't think it will
be the beginning of a slide downwards. The bottom line is that
anyone who has been paying attention should have known what
the numbers would be. And it is better for the rest of us if those
who were not paying attention skip town :-)

I do pity you; a nice cottage in Maine sounds pretty good. Then
again, we just bought a nice house up on a ridge overlooking
Diamond Head and the entire city of Honolulu with the Pacific as
a nice backdrop. I suppose I will have to live with that. Assuming
of course that I can continue to pay the mortgage :-)

I don't plan on retiring for another 30 years or so (I'm 40 now so
that is about right). By then I would like a nice cottage
somewhere in the Lake District (Northern England; Cumbria). If I
could spend Spring and Fall there and Summer and Winter here, I
would be as close to heaven as I can imagine.....

Cheers, Torben>>

Torben:
You do sound like someone who knows how to enjoy life.
Today is over, so let's map out the strategy for the future.
What do you think, Torben, I think it will probably gap down
Monday at the open and if it goes back up, I think we will
be alright, but if Monday is a repeat of today, drifting
down all day, then it is no good ...

What does a nice cottage in the Lake district go for? Less than a cottage on the lake in Maine? Even with the cross-Atlantic fares would I be better off buying over there and commuting a couple of times a year?
