The PUP vs. the UDP is an age old battle. Here is the latest from the head of the PUP: The terrible state of housing in Belize will also be addressed by the new PUP government in a practical way. We will create the environment and provide the incentives to enable 10,000 homes to be built during the next five years. We will make available affordable and long-term credit facilities for low and middle-income earners to build homes so that when they are given a housing lot they are able to realize their dream of owning a home. The cornerstone of our strategy is our growth economics, which will enable the next PUP government to ensure 15,000 new jobs with just conditions and wages for workers. This will involve a massive national housing scheme that will provide 4,000 new jobs in the construction industry; an infrastructure development scheme which will create 5,000 new jobs; and our new agriculture, tourism and industry programs will employ 6,000 more men and women. Our tax incentive programs will be used to promote employment, while our Youth Enterprise Fund will generate start-up capital for hundreds of new job opportunities. Guess whose program he refers to? Affordable Housing Ltd., of course.

Fascinating. What does it all mean? What could it all mean? When do the elections end? If another government is in power are they bound to the same contracts as the former? Does PRWT have a chance even if the new government throws out the contracts and goes with some sweetheart company? When will PRWT start advertising? Since any investigation by the SEC is confidential, how would we know if they came to the conclusion that PRWT is legitimate? If this is indeed political infighting, does that bode well for PRWT? A company backed by such a government that would treat its people and associations in this manner? How secure is this backing from the government, if indeed it is legitimate? Why couldn't PRWT in their "update" be completely certain in stating the press release was (at the very least) a mistake*? Where is PRWT's confidence? Why do we have NO, (NONE) confirmation of PRWT from an outside source other than the employees of PRWT? What would photo's ON PRWT's website confirm? Does anybody know the meaning of verification, it doesn't only come from the company you are investigating. Don't people know that companies can lie? Explain that. How long does it take to send a press release to the news wires? We Want Answers. We Demand Answers.
