Rich,

Find out if MASH makes a market in any of the stocks, etc. you're trying to get quotes on. Demand an answer from a rep... they have instant access to the list of MMs on any individual issue.

Yes, I have been unable to get a real time quote on qmaww.o for the last 2 days--they are awful with option quotes, and this happened the last time there was large volume. I don't have a big enough account to have any clout, but this may make me change brokers.

You're right, no quote information available on bqxjc.

Oddly, I was able to run through the order screens for the option and it appeared as a valid contract, sans pricing. (I did not place the order.)

I had similar problems a few months ago after a stock split - the new option symbol wasn't available for days. I got the explanation that it was a problem with the Schwab's quote supplier. Well, Schwab get another quote vendor.

I stick with Schwab only because the Select or 500 reps are pretty decent. I tried e-trade a while back and that outfit was worse than Schwab.
