<< We just don't know what it is, yet.>> Ken Starr has a little free time on his hands now...maybe we could get him to investigate.

A very nice narrative and perspective Craig. One thing we have always gotten for our ownership of Ancor shares, are never ending surprises. Looking at a dollar and some odd change of current value, it would seem reasonable that the next surprise might be a good one. It does seem apparent that the next 6-12 months will make or break this company.

Craig,

Thank you for a great post. I think it represents many investors' sentiments . I think Ancor will succeed and stock price will go back to a respectable level regardless what happens to Bill Clinton.<g>

"Of course, this doesn't mean that the sales team hasn't delivered anything, but it certainly hasn't hit the news wires"

But some OEM contracts don't get any PR. Witness the appearance of the Silkworm at Data General. I haven't see any announcement of this deal.

<Even more interesting to me is that Adaptec and Brocade appear to be laying off
people, while Ancor is staying the course.>

Criag, from announced and non-announced news, Brocade appears to have grabbed all the fishes on the table. What kind of market share do we expect Ancor to get? Who is running the show in Ancor? Since you keep mentioning Cal, I figured that you might have heard something. If there is an OEM, it get to be as big as Sequent, Storage Tech, DEC, IBM? and all others combined. Because they now have about the same size as Brocade and everyone is supposedly working on SAN products(MK ?). Where is that OEM that made Ancor to throw away corns (Lan products) in hands and trying to grab something big with two empty hands? Are they really doing better than Brocade?
