As a DGIV and FTEL shareholder, I agree....we should keep discussions about FTEL on the FTEL thread and remain focused on DGIV here!

Point taken, dch.

You're right.. I wouldn't have a problem with DGIV people buying other phone to phone IP telephony companies like FTEL, IDTC, ITXC, etc...

I think anyone in an hot emerging market should diversify between players to catch the one that really succeeds.

But as to my past motives (which you are questioning)... click on the following three links on the DGIV thread..don't worry they are DGIV thread posts...not FTEL.

Message 3706242

Message 3711651

Message 3723941

Note four things: The date of my posts. The numeric order of my posts.
What company I am comparing DGIV to. And what company I was promoting people buy.

As you clearly see, I told people in March 1998 DGIV was worth MORE than FTEL at that time because to me it seemed DGIV had moved farther in the IP Telephony game than FTEL had in March.

Now it has been 6 months since my referenced posts...and I am here to tell you that FTEL has now surpassed DGIV because they have internet telephony revenues coming in and DGIV does not (as of yet).

Remember this...since March 1998 I have compared the two companies and 6 months later in September. So I don't believe I am a hypocritical poster. I examine the facts.
And present them. If you wish to ignore them. That is your perogative.

I am definitely not implying you should dump DGIV for FTEL. Nor did I tell FTEL people to dump FTEL back in March 1998 to buy DGIV at
.40 - .50 (though they should have!).
I simply let the FTEL thread know that DGIV was clearly ahead of the IP telephony game back then and a better investment value.

The stock price rise to $8 from $.40 conifrms that fact.

Now the tide has changed once again (IMHO). And FTEL seems the bargain.

And guess what, in 3 months - 6 months, that could change once again. DGIV may emerge as the leader in IP Telephony accomplishments.

Now some of us are long term investors (over a year)..and others are 3 month - 6 month investors that sell once a target is reached. Some are a mixture of both.

I am that mixture.

I love this field of IP telephony and DGIV and FTEL are great contenders in it.

I admittedly switch my weighting from one to another stock as news events and progress for each company.

So I try to be in tune in the advantages and disadvantages of each and invest accordingly for maximum gain.

And so far, this strategy has worked brilliantly for me in regards to FTEL and DGIV.

However, I have stated all I need to about FTEL on this board.
That I agree.

Now you all can make up your own informed decision.

Of course, if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me.

Good day! And back to your regularly broadcasted DGIV discussion.
