Hi Rick,
But, up to this point PeopleSoft has been very good in its guidance, and the only reason to believe that this report will be the exception is generalized fear.

It was that positive preannounce a few weeks ago that has got me wondering. Man was that wierd. Why did they do it? If the numbers arent good then it will really look bad. And is sure looks to me like the numbers wont be good.

>> it might be PSFT snubbing BT Alex Brown for its recent downgrade <<

I doubt it. If I were PSFT's management and I have good news on the earning front, I would be eager to go there to tell the world that BT Alex Brown was wrong! PSFT management are sophisticated people. They must know that pulling out of conference before the earning release will certainly damage their stock! On the other hand, if I have bad news I would not want to go there to embarrass myself and to make BTAB look smarter!
