One more on the Auction front: SHRP (Sharper Images), closed Fri at 12, bid currently at 23+, 8 mil shr outstanding, AND already profitable... how high would the market take it ????????????

I agree with the waiting part. Do you have a seat?

Someone from Yahoo, of all places, once gave me these (paraphrased) words of wisdom. Making money short is more difficult than making money long. All you have to do is look at the market averages over the last 50 years to see that shorting as a long term strategy doesn't work. Short term it works if you either know something or stay on top of a volatile stock. I've tried shorting for a couple trades (not ONSL) and made a little money. It was more nerve-racking than going long.
