Terry:

Building a road is the most economic way to access the property for an extended project. It takes several weeks to build a 15 km road because in Quebec you can't just go in and bulldoze over the trees (you have to cut all the trees and pile them before bulldozing out the stumps). Flying a drill crew in daily is far more expensive because you probably will end up chartering a helicopter for a minimum 3 hours per day (~ $3,000) if there isn't one stationed nearby. A prudent explorationist would build a road rather than spending $100,000 a month to mount an extended helicopter supported drilling campaign. Furthermore, I will bet that the geologist running the program is just as anxious as you are to see the drill(s) start turning.

--So why the interest from the Big Canadian Niclel Players in Nuinsco, why the rush to the area by all those Nickel hunters, why the huge expense by NWI of a road in the dead of winter, why not hire a chopper for 2 or 3 days to handle the new drills. This slow down for three weeks didn't do a thing for their share value of C$2.50/sh. (+/- 10% or 15%), at the start. Why spend the time lugging the core across Canada for the pros to study.???No one knows what's deep in the ground it may be small, medium, or large, (lets hope there's 5 large) all we know is that World Nickle prices are improving, and that one (1) drill core is the best ever in 4 or 5 years, since Voisey Bay, with a 10% Nickel section in the core thrown in for good measure.!!!!!

Terry,
I know very little about geology, but consider the following facts:
1. The core was analyzed by the experts and they seem to agree that it has the proper geological fingerprint of other Ni-Cu deposits, of course, this does not mean that the tonnage is there, just that the geology is the desired to have.
2. How many VB companies chased Mag anomalies to find zilch?, wouldn't be that the absence of the Mag just could mean that the deposit is to deep for instruments to detect?.
3. If Falco is staking on the neighborhood it is not because they have extra money to waste and nothing better to do. I am assuming they've done their DD prior risking not only money but an egg in the face if Lac ROcher proves to be a flash in the pan.
4. Frank Puskas apparently analyzed the core in detail and his company (Golden Eye) and jv NVE are staking like there is no end. You seem to know geology, therefore you should know who Puskas is in the business.

Terry: How do you figure that? What azimuth angle are you using to calculate the orientation of the bottom of the hole? Nuincso is reluctant to give out such data at this point in time. They say TSE regulations prevent them from giving technical details to individuals if all individuals do not have the same information, and they certainly don't want to "spill all their beans" at this point in time with a technical press release. There are TWO magnetic anomalies under which the bottom of hole 99-1 could lay. With due respect, is very pre-mature to make a statement like that.

Hi Terry,
The stall is hard for me to understand as well. The small rig in place could be drilling follow-up holes while the road is being driven to site.

Just recently read The Big Score,I was quite impressed with the research that was put into the book by J.McNish.Congratulations on your involvement in the story.Must have been exciting days for you professionally.

Regards : John

Hi Terry,
Back to your comment:
<Be careful, according to the new webpage images #99-1 mineralization does not
yield IP, Mag, or Input geophysical anomalies--this implies lack of volume; I'll be
surprised if even a respectable (but uneconomic) 2 MMT. >

On the LAc Rocher grid description on site nuinsco.ca, I see 99-1 in line with an Ind. Polarz. (IP) and within a mag anomaly, what am I missing here?
