Someone please post the name and address of the place where we are to send checks to for the refugees. I would like to send a check out this morning. Thanks. I confess, all I have done is mourn for those people. I know I can do more. I've procrastinated. And I'm sorry. To anyone here that doesn't feel the severity, think about this. Imagine a group of highly armed and ruthless soldiers barging into your home. If you are a man, imagine them raping your wife repeatedly and leaving her to die while you watch helplessly. Imagine them cutting off the fingers or ears of your small children while you watch helplessly. And then after they have made you watch all of this, they kill you and push your wounded, raped family out in the cold to walk thru miles of snow with no food and no clothing to keep them warm with no mercy. The soldiers only concern is that you leave the country and that all of the men of your race are dead so that your race can be cleansed from the earth. Your family is left with no name, no existence at all, and the horror of each and every one of them living thru such an ordeal. It is happening. When I think of something like this happening to my wife and my 2 little girls, I can't help but cry. I cried just thinking about it last night coming home from a meeting. I just pulled over and cried. Money can buy just about any material thing in the world if there is enough of it. It can not make these people whole again and it can not bring back their loved ones. But it can add a little comfort to the horrible existence they are living. If that is all you can do, do it. For most of us, it is all we can do. I am sending $1,000 today and will send more next week. And I will continue to pray for the wounded souls. In my opinion, Milosevich is an anti-christ. He must be stopped. I hope I have not been too offensive to anyone with this post. But I have a feeling some of you are walking around with blinders on, like I was at first. I need the name and address of the place to send this check. I will print it out and spread the word.

Tony & All; 1) I called NBC in Tirana. I briefed them on what you are doing, begged them to take your calls, see your footage, listen to you, and most importantly to pass on this information to Geraldo. The people there are very nice. 011-389-91-392-392 2) American Embassy in Macedonia has been called. Pat Walsh would not take my call, however I tried softening up his assistant for further calls. I think if we all keep calling the Embassy at 011-389-91-116-180, Pat will have to talk to us eventually. 3) Called some friends in Washington to have them put pressure on Pat too! If you have friends in the Government please do this too. 4) Called my own Senators & Congressman. Everyone can do this! 5) Sent a check. Everyone can do this too! Best regards!

Be Safe Glenn Tool, I'm going to my bank and going to ask if they will set-up an account to recieve funds to be forwarded to the Mother Teresa organization Anthony has requested. I admire what you are doing, BUT: 1) if you take a position in a stock prior to releasing your stock picks, then you are not as benevolent as your post would have people believe. 2) If you have saved the investing public millions or billions, then who lost that money...who was on the other side? 3) Why would you threaten people with canceling your web-site and seminar if people do not help YOUR cause? Lots of people need help around the world...even people in our own country suffer from impoverishment. I just spent 1.5 years in Peru...I understand what poverty is really about. Asking for a little help is fine...but try not to be overly dramatic and let others decide when, where, how and to whom to provide assistance. and i don't think it is appropriate to slam the US just because blankets are not coming from the US....if it were not for us, these people would be cleansed from the earth and blankets would not matter too much....and for christ sake, i would hope with all the money we are spending (our income tax dollars) to prevent the mass slaughter of people that other countries could provide some food, clothing and shelter support.

TO THE THREAD: PLEASE try to keep some focus on what Anthony is trying to do. He wants to bring a planeload of children who have lost or become disconnected from friends, neighbors, relatives or anyone else capable of caring for them. He wants to care for them and provide safety in foster care situations until they can be repatriated. The conditions they are living in are appalling and the kids are utterly traumatized and defenseless. Sometimes its hard to break through our inertia and realize its not a "normal" day. I assure you, Anthony is NOT having a normal day! Right now, he is experiencing obstacles from the US Embassy in Skopje. His only interest in Geraldo and NBC is to increase public awareness, sympathy, and therefore pressure on the Embassy to facilitate his "simple" mission. Senator Abraham is significant for the same reason. (NOTE: I have no special or private connection to Anthony; I am just reading his posts carefully and literally, and trying to pitch in!) Yesterday I edited Anthony's 4-22 posts into a single message and posted it here: Message 9094342 If you are just becoming aware of his efforts, please take a few minutes, hit the link, read carefully, and bring yourself up to date. Then take action. Charitable donation information is at the bottom. Yesterday, I sent an email around my office with a few quotes from his posts, offering to match all donations. In one day I had raised $1,000. Then my boss matched it. So we wired $3,000 to the org he identified. This wasn't hard, and I'm no movement organizer. How much have we benefitted from his sharing his knowledge of the markets, and from bringing us together publicly? EVERYONE, its time to acknowledge that. The message is all set up for cut-and-paste posting on other boards. I opened up a reply mailbox on Hotmail so anyone wishing to reply from "anonymous" threads would have some point of contact without filling up Anthony's inbox. I also started posting it on Yahoo and other boards where it could be read widely. A couple of you have already picked up the baton and helped spread it around. Thank you! These 400 kids are who I want to get out of here .I have agreed to pay the airfare and all financial support. For these kids and am willing to fund the continuing search for these kids. Congressman Robert Wexler's letter to the US Embassy in Macedonian was met with contempt and an attitude I could not believe. Please contact the US EMBASSY in Macedonia via Fax and phone and email letting them know that we are all watching their arrogance and inhumanity. I am optimistic and hopeful that Senator Abraham can and will do something for these kids. Kosovo will be added to the long list of atrocities committed in the twentieth century. When I see things like this I think the only difference between us and that aggressive sumnabitch that fell out of a tree in Africa thousands of years ago is that we can now kill much more effectively and efficiently. But then when I see guys like A@P and the people on this thread I think.......YEAH...maybe we have come a long way, though not everyone has evolved at the same pace, we will still produce our Hitlers and Milosovics.
