Activities Update -- CyBerCorp

All,

Went to Austin and talked to Mr. Butch Jones, VP of Business Development for CyBerCorp today. He said they will be pleased to offer us a tour of their headquarters, followed by a demonstration of some of their software on Friday afternoon, 16 July. Tentative schedule:

1200 - 1300 Tour of facility
1315 - 1500 Demonstration of Trading Software at hotel.

Here are some pertinent URLs to see what we're talking about.
cybercorp.com

cbs.marketwatch.com:80/archive/19990526/news/current/cybercorp.htx?source=htx/http2_mw
... For the past few weeks, CyBerCorp's online active traders have had access to Island ECN, a fast-growing electronic communications network that lets them trade for 90 minutes before the markets open and for 75 minutes after the markets close. ...

wired.com:80/news/news/business/story/19885.html
CyberCorp said it will do its after-hours trades through Datek Online's The Island, as well as ECNs REDIBook, Acra, and NexTrade. While market hours on Nasdaq and NYSE are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., EDT CyBerBroker said its customers can trade on the affiliated ECNs from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Online brokers have long accepted orders while the market is closed, but the trades are initiated when the market opens, with a flood of deals crossing in the first minutes of trading. The new setup allows trades to be completed while formal exchanges are closed.

Subject 26953 (some negative comments)

Please note that I am not trying to 'sell' this brokerage. Rather, I intend it as an opportunity for you to look at some trading software and programs which MAY be of interest to you as investors, whether in the specific or general sense. (Oh, and BTW, this is a private corporation which may be going public at some future date.)

DELLish, Bachman

SULLIVAN's Update (Thursday evening) (updated 22-JN-99)

ALL: Please note this change, with my apologies for the turbulence.

Had some discussions with Ms. Lynn Willis, Sullivan's Group Reservation Manager, last week. One of the banquet rooms had become available, so we agreed on the following changes:

Reservation Time: Thursday, 15 July, 8:00 P.M.
Reservations: one banquet room seating 24, and five 6-person tables in main dining room.

We set the reservation time later in order to better accommodate those who will be arriving in Austin Thursday evening, to give us an unhurried transition from the day's tour activities, to allow for the increased participation, and also to provide our group a relaxed dining experience -- we'll be able to stay seated and talk as long as we wish, without pressure from the management to turn the tables again. This arrangement also allows us to change the reservation time for individual tables (or the banquet room) if some groups or individuals would prefer to dine earlier. If you would prefer an earlier reservation, let me know and I'll coordinate it.

Sullivan's also offered us their "Ringside Room", which we could use for congregating and cocktails prior to dining. If there is interest in this idea, please let me know, so that I can confirm with them.

P.S. Ms. Willis told me that most of Sullivan's reservations for Thursday evening are for DELL-Heads, DELL shareholders, and DELL employees. Last year, we found one of the highlights of Sullivan's to be meeting other shareholders and employees.

Send questions and comments via email to naborsjbiii@sprintmail.com

DELLish, Bachman.
