Any opinions or data on MOSAID Technologies?

Corporate info is at www.mosaid.com:
"MOSAID Technologies Incorporated is a leading independent memory chip
design house and the world leader in the supply of engineering memory
test systems. The company designs advanced chips for standard memory
and Application Specific Memory (ASM) requirements and also designs,
manufactures and markets engineering test systems for memory chips."

MOSAID is a Canadian company traded on the TSE, symbol MSD. Approx.
190 employees. Company is based in Kanata, Ontario, near Ottawa, with
offices in Santa Clara, CA, Tokyo and the UK.

Fiscal 97 data: revenue $39.8M, net earnings $3.7M
Fiscal 98 data: revenue $41.4M, net earnings $5.2M
EPS (fully diluted) was $0.67 in fiscal 98.

Part of their revenue is royalties on sales of memory chips that use
their designs. They are a member of SLDRAM Inc., a consortium of major
chip makers and systems manufacturers. MOSAID was selected by SLDRAM
Inc. to design the open standard that will establish the next
generation of solutions for computer memory: Synchronous Link DRAM.

In addition to the SLDRAM reference design, MOSAID recently completed
its first 256-Megabit DDR SDRAM design. A 256-Megabit chip contains
enough memory to supply, with only one memory device, the requirement
of today's typical PC.
