Our school district doesn't have a language arts textbook. Being a math person myself, I am having a hard time finding really fun writing ideas for my fifth grade students. It seems anything I come up with they have already done in fourth grade because we have such great fourth grade teachers at our building. So, if you have any ideas that really went well for you, would you please post back or email me at lajtt@aol.com. Thanks!
