Here's a good one to look at if you are interested in a turnaround play. The Company (NASDAQ:UTCI) is a leader in the development and manufacturing of high performance plastics, coated fabrics and specialty adhesives. High performance plastics include mass transit seating (bus and train seats), computer housing, aircraft interior trim, etc. Coated fabrics include automotive upholstery and the well-known "Naugahyde" brand of vinyl-coated fabrics. Specialty adhesives include industrial and roofing adhesives, supplying at least 80% of the adhesives used by Firestone. The Company emerged from bankruptcy in 1995 and now feels confident of earning $0.35-0.40 per share in the coming year. Not bad for a stock trading at about $4.50 in today's inflated market. Please leave a message if you have heard of this company.
