This looks to be an interesting new play in the digital wireless arena. Symbol (USDI) Current price around $1.125 They recently (12/9/97) announced a partnership with Iridium North America to become the North American distributor for its satellite based global wireless communbications network. Iridium North America (IRIDF) is part of a consortium of 17 co's & organizations including Motorola, Sprint, Lockheed Martin & Raytheon; IRIDF is developing and commercializing a global mobile wireless communications system that will enable subscribers to send & receive telephone calls. I was also impressed by the fact that USDI's President is Lawrence Siegel (former CEO of Atari) and it's Chairman is Robert Wussler (former CEO of COMSAT). I ordered a packet on the company by calling 818-789-9040. I would appreciate any additional information or input on this subject. Thank you | ||||||||||||||
