Beginning next year, the European Common Market will begin trading among themselves using a common currency while continuing to maintain a local currency. Companies will keep books using both currencies. Complications will arise in doing international business as companies will need to convert their local currencies to the Euro dollar and to the foreign currency. The problem is reported to be more complicated than the Y2K problem and therefore potentially much more lucrative.

This thread came about as a collaborative effort between the Point and Figure Charting thread
Subject 5671

and

The Three Amigo thread Subject 18922

The purpose of this thread is to identify companies that will profit from the software needs created by the Eurodollar conversion.
