Intershop, the leading provider of e-commerce software and solutions will ipo on april 23rd. the company headquartered in san francisco was founded in 1992 in jena, germany. customers are e.g.: hewlett-packard, siemens nixdorf, deutsche telekom, france telekom, silicon graphics, sun microsystems and sybase.

their product intershop 3 is highly scalable and offers customers the ability to provide their products to customers all over the world with a minimum of expense.

they have played a big role in e-commerce in the past and i think they will play the role in the future.
