From time to time, anew ticker appears on the AMEX, per today one was even listed on the "IPO Calendar", its' Duraswitch (AMEX:DRA), which previously traded on the OBB as DSWT. Other stocks which moved to the AMEX were: UAI, FCM (was FTEL), ONT, CGY. It has been mentioned that the AMEX seeks to list a bunch of companies in 1999, but there might be doubts about the quality of some of the listed stocks. Some of these stocks are traded after a reverse merger brought some business into a shell company. Now, how have those stocks fared? Did they rise? Is trading smoothly and offers chances for newly investors? On a side note, some stocks which were either traded OTC, or on the BB, like Ubet, Cyba, Bids moved to the Nasdaq.
