Gray Davis served under Jerry Brown (Governor Moonbeam the First) as his Chief of
Staff. Do you think the rotten apple can fall very far from the tree? Well, apparently
not. By his inattention during the summer 2000 to the first signs of the energy crisis, by
the moronic decisions made by the California PUC, and his complete ineptitude as a
leader and negotiator, Gray Davis has ensured that a serious problem would turn into
an unmitigated disaster. Move over Jimmy Carter, Jerry Brown, and Bill Clinton,
the Democrats have found another bumbling fool with whom to entertain us for
the next few years!
