AutoTote Corp. designs and sells computerized wagering equipment and provides facilities management for use in racetracks, lotteries, and legalized sports betting facilities. For the 6 months ended 4/96, revenues increased 31% to $89M. Net loss increased 32% to $19.7M. Revenues benefitted from the opening of the SportsHaven/TM/multientertainment facility in Connecticut. Higher loss reflects a $6.8M charge for the settlement of a lawsuit. The Company's systems are in use in the United States, Central and South America, Canada, Mexico, and the Far East and Europe.
