Just wondering if anyone is following COSI? They are pretty heavily positioned in the Washington, DC area and it would seem to have a pretty good business model, if they can execute it properly.. One of the things I've noticed is that they generally try to go head to head with Starbucks when locating their stores, trying to lure people in with their variety of product offerings. These include: 1.) Coffee, Tea, etc.. And I find it comparable to Starbucks in quality (COSI apparently merged with a popular coffee house here, Xando's). 2.) Lunch sandwiches, and Salads 3.) Limited locations even serve pizza. 4.) After 5PM, they generally serve liquor and beer in select locations. 5.) Designated smoking sections and, where feasible, generous outside seating. Would look forward to hearing any opinions and thoughts, now that they apparently have hired a new CEO. Hawk | ||||||||||||||
