This Wallingford, CN company is a leading edge, heavy in the R&D area of respiratory therapy. They manufacture monitoring devices used in non-invasive care. For more specific information it is suggested that you go to their home page at <<http://www.novametrix.com/>>. They are presently involved is a non-managment battle with a 13D group which comprises at least 16% of the outstanding 7+million shares. This group is interested in placing on the board 2 directors of the 6. This is needed in order to get better shareholder representation. The existing board consists of a group of hand picked yes men that do not have any concern with shareholder values. Disgruntled? Yes. The stock has been bouncing between 4 and 7 for over 3 years. Though as an attendee at their yearly annual meetings we are told, "We are the best kept $15 to $30/share company on the street." It has always been, "Wait till . . . . ." If you own this stock, have any information, or would like to simply discuss this company, obviously that is why I have started this posting or thread as some might call it. | ||||||||||||||
