The stock Viasoft (VIAS) is an excellent stock, but that is all I know about it. The company doesn't seem to have that great of products except for the fix for the year "2000" problem which many other companies are also working on. Why does Viasoft seem to have an edge on the other companies in the same business? All I know is that I bought that stock at a price of 22 1/2, and watched it run to a split-adjusted price of 114 which is the current price. It has had a few bumps in the road including the June market crash, but other than that, it has sky-rocketed. It seems to me that people are buying the stock, that do not know much about the company. They are the ones that are blindly driving it up, up , up, but when will it end. I have a couple of questions that I would like people to respond to. Why is VIAS seeming to have an edge over most companies like it that make the same product? Also, what will happen to the stock once the year 2000 roles around? Anyone with any info or comments about Viasoft, please respond. For those of you who are being introduced to the stock for the first time, go check out the chart and I am sure you will see what I am talking about. Keep in mind that it split at 70 to 35, and is up to 57 right now.
