Imatron execs are interested in getting into the Asian market because:

1. There are no restrictions from Seimens

2. There is a lot of government involvement in health care which
could bypass the conservative "wait and see" elements of the American
private health care system.

A wealthy small country like Singapore could adopt coronary
EBCT coronary screening for its entire over 40 population
immediately. Imat is attending an Asian regional healthcare meeting
this weekend in Thailand.
