Dec 96 issue of Individual Investor names TCNL as one of America's fastest GROWING Companies (R). Tecnol Medical Products designs, manufactures, and markets disposable medical products. Products include: face masks, ice packs, orthopedic products, and patient safety restraints. $272 million Market Cap at November 15, 1996. Trades at a 32% Discount PE Multiple of 15.7 X, vs. the 23.1 X average multiple at which the Medical Products SubIndustry is priced. And Zack's rating (@5, the worse and is a real negative) and estimates have been coming down as has the stock, hence it looks cheap relative to industry (and trades near its yrly low, which indicates problems).
