MB -

Do you have any thoughts on the restructuring of Thermo Electron (TMO)?

In particular, after a significant re-organization, and a bunch of sales, there will be two new public companies partly paid out to TMO shareholders as stock dividends. What would you expect to happen to an in the money buy-write position after the record date passes? Is there a reasonable chance of getting the new shares for free?

TIA, Don

Can I get a brokerage account that will pay interest on my short account cash balance? If I can, do you know who provides this service?

Thanks.
