Mr. Watson, That was one heck of a post. SGI might possibly be the only technology company in America today capable of deploying a 'Star Wars' solution to a modern global confrontation.

Thanks also from yours truly re. your summary.

Have heard about the smart bombs for going into caves from another site. Have come a long way from the early technology of the 60's which could identify license plate numbers in Russia.

Major Question: On the Yahoo thread there is talk of Lockheed or Raytheon taking over SGI. I am presuming that this is Halloween talk--. Anyone here have any idea about these possibilities?
