To the thread: I just had it… and could not keep silent… this is ridiculous beyond I can possibly express.. I am not sure if anyone has been following Islam the Message thread. I have, and I have to say I have had lots of entertainment from the idiotic laughable responses that have been provided. Here is the mind of a Muslim (or at least one who claims to be a moderate educated Muslim living in a free thinking society such as the U.S). Message 16725480 In above post it is stated that: this "not wanting to accept" is what makes someone like me question the ulterior motives of the other person... in this case, you... for they translate basically to one of two things... (1) that you truly do not like the Qur'an one bit, hence unable to look at it with an unbiased view, and simply do not want to accept any explanation of it other than what makes ugly (2) you simply want to cast some shadows over any given explanation. This is in response to IGIT’s fair, totally objective, honest factual questions – to which absolutely no response (not even one single logical reasonable response has been provided). I really wished everyone would read these posts and the responses that have been provided to each post and judge for yourself. By reviewing the responses to the below posts, if nothing the least you will get is great entertainment from someone who can potentially have a great career (if he wants to) with NBC’s Saturday Night Life to write sketches on how to come up with most illogical laughable responses to potentially serious matters such as God, and the book otherwise known as Koran!! Conclusion (and this is very important!): ======================================= So based on what has been discussed on the Islam the Message thread, a Muslim must – I repeat MUST – accept Quran as is, without questioning its verses, otherwise he is not a Muslim. Please see Message 16719659 In the above post it is stated that (and I quote): Muslims accept ALL of the Qur'an as it is regardless of how well or how little they understand it... a Muslim has to, otherwise he / she is no longer a Muslim... hmmm…. Interesting… indeed… You know…. There was another suicide bomber in Israel yesterday, who blew himself up along with 3 other innocent people hoping that he would go to heaven with 72 virgins on his side. I was just wondering can the civilized world not invest in offering these suicide bombers virgins in this world (and in fact can go beyond 72 and offer them …. lets say 172). I mean this way they don’t have to blow up themselves (or anyone else), and can in fact have as much fun with these 172 virgins while maintaining their communication and relationship with their friends and family and continue their lives in "this world"!! A born blind can not comprehend or even imagine what the color Red looks like, but still he is willing to try to understand it if someone tries hard to explain it to him. Can we say the same thing about a vast majority of Muslims when it comes to understanding the violent satanic nature of parts of Quran and Islam? I really wonder…. And what is truly sad is that a vast majority of Muslims (in fact the majority) have (admittedly) no clue or understanding of what Quran talks about, and yet they insist it is the word of God. With Nazis at least the followers knew what Hitler stood for and talked about, with Islam the followers have no clue about what their faith talks about in its entirety! Yes, I know … I am about to be mocked by some for being anti-Islamic (for which I am not – I really honestly as God is my witness am NOT - I am just stating what I see and still remaining totally open minded). The problem is no Muslim is willing – or can – offer reasonable explanations to the questions raised (such as the promotion of wife beating, and killing of non-Muslims in Quran). And you all have seen what happens when you push for getting some reasonable answers to such questions regardless of how much you frame them in a civil and respectful (and politically correct) manner. What happens if you ask such questions is that: a) In a free-thinking society such as the U.S you are either ignored/blocked, or mocked as being anti-Islamic and therefore an atheist b) And in an Islamic society (such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan, etc.) you are simply put in jail and potentially punished by death! And let me remind all that we are in the year 2001 or otherwise knwon as the 21st century!
